The Mavric Music Awards gathers each year to recognize the vibrant working, recording, and performing music community of the Southern and Central California Coast and Valleys of  Ventura County.

It is a thrill this year to have won the award for Album of the Year for “Sittin Out the Rain”, Instrumental Performance of the Year for “Martin’s Tune”, and Country Song of the Year for “Lover’s Question”.  My instrumental guitar album “Guitarpenters Dream” was nominated for Instrumental Album of the Year .

My good friend and neighbor, renaissance man, Scott “Smitty” Smith was there also, and  his song “Lady of the Isle” received the award for ‘Best Song- Comedy‘ category’.

 A good night for the Ojai boys.
